while google-searching "sacred heart les cayes haiti", i stumbled across your slideshow of pictures, and ultimately your blog. i'm trying to track down the people who attend church in a building that appears in one of your photos and was wondering if you have any contacts still in les cayes.

i know this is very out of the blue, but any information you have would be most helpful.

Thanks so much!

Nice blog work. I came across your blog while “blog surfing” using the Next Blog button on the blue Nav Bar located at the top of my blogger.com site. I frequently just travel around looking for other blogs which exist on the Internet, and the various, creative ways in which people express themselves. Thanks for sharing.

Hello! My name is Angie, I'm a painter from port-au-prince, Haiti. I saw this picture online when I googled: ile a vache. I am really interested in reproducing an acrylic image of this beautiful photograph. I don't know if you are the one who took this picture or not. Can you please let me know... Thanks

Hi Angie - yes, that's my photo. All the work on this blog is mine unless otherwise stated. If you paint this photograph, would you mind sharing? I would love to see it. I have been thinking a lot about Haiti lately - as it's fallen away from news reports (and since I run into a lot of Haitians here in NYC).

more blogging soon!
