Ankle-deep in Haitian mud
It rained all night last night and all night the night before that. Now the road leading to the farm is a 1-2 foot river. It's supposed to rain more yet...
Our cleaning lady holds hour-long conversations with the bathroom walls every morning.
when i saw this river of a road it reminded me of a certain storm on a certain night. it is dark and pouring and the windows are being de-fogged by the rock. i hear "is he going slow enough? is he going to fast? can he see? are you sure he can see? i can't see. are you sure he's not going to fast? should he slow down? i really cant see, are you sure he can? it just kind of makes me nervous."
after that i hear the skreeching sounds of a small dinosaur on Jurassic park... good times
